Post ur rules suggestion here!

These were the first 2 responses to my initial request.
I feel at this time, since the rules are missing, oh wait, they were just misplaced,
lol, and I wrote the originals anyway, we might want to start from scratch
and get everyone's input on what you feel are good rules for the guild.
I want everyone's ideas, no matter how simple, stupid, obvious, or ridiculous!!! Please?

and im willing to lvl up and donate and all that so i can get a better rank, that way i can
offer more help to the guild and make this guild become stronger! we also have a lot of inactives as well =/

i think most of the rules we have are pretty good, we as higher level members need to monitor them more. no buffs from guild chat means no asking for buffs in guild chat, i know it happens, heck i dont really mind it all that much. but if we are going to have it as a rule there need to be quick and effective demotions as a result. first time warning, second time a week with no priviledges (including guild chat if possible) third time financial repairs... donation of gold or fsp based on level/% and loss of priviledges, 4th time booted.

if we want to make rules and have concequences we need to be active on keeping the conciquences... we also need to show grace through the concequences. People are punished but not hated. Help through discipline.

thats my 2cents.

for rules id say
1) everyone in the guild must be on this forum within 1 week of their joining or they are kicked... no dispute. we need this forum to be active and a bunch of people from the guild are never on here.

2) manditory donations based on level. gold or fsp but everyone must use 1 bank a week for the guild,

3) when there is a guild pot, everyone on must give something to it minimum 10% of what they are holding.

4) everytime people log on to level they must say hello in chat, regardless of whether they want to chat or not... come on people were in a guild to work together and we cant work together without conversation... theres lots of times when im on and dont want to talk to anyone, but i still say hi cuz thats what we should do.

5) if you want guild stuff ask a guardian, if there are no guardians online you can ask someone else but be prepared to wait till a guardian comes online... its their job to help you, and they will help you, when they have time.

6) the chat room is a place to chat about anything, however like it says in the guild rules watch your language cuz there are young people in the guild, that doesnt mean dont swear... just be mindful.

7) we are a guild based on honor when there is a delevel schedualed to assist someone in our guild. there needs to be 24 hours notice and anyone that can make it online should confirm with the guild so we know that people will help before we actually bounty.

our allies are our allies... however they are not guild members, be helpful to them whenever you can (heck i buff people in most of our allie guilds when ever i can for free) but they do not come before guild members. If they need help deleveling someone, help when you can, again must give notice if you can help so we know who will help.

9) make use of the calandar on this site. really benificial. if you are going to be away book off on the calender and the forum.

10) inactives get kicked after a week unless they have given notice, or have more than 5mill guild xp.


thats it for now, these are some things i think we should implement... especially the calender and manditory use of this forum.

also guys i think buffs should be PMed just cause when you think about it, its more logical when you talk on the guild chat it means that the person has to click on his skills and then buff you with the buffs INDIVIDUALLY but if you were to PM them theres a link beside reply that says BUFF and when they click it all their buffs open up and they can choose and buff you with everything all at once which makes life that much more easier

sorry blaydwin but i think for the rule about inactivity should be shortened xD a bit, my suggestion is 3 days max unless you give notice and you have to burn stam when you are on some people log in after like a week just for the sake of logging on then they log out which does nothing

maybe activity should be based around levels / week, not time, or number of times logged on

I agree on measuring the number of levels/week.. I thought it is already done by illy.. if not... then someone should be assigned that task officially

i would like to have these rules implemented:

• everyone who would like to get some items have to search them from guild store or from report first and only search for items from players backpack or players who are offline for more than a week (7 days) and they have to tell the one who shall recall them exactly which item from which player
  (of course everyone have to be able to see the report of all tagged items for this reason)

• evryone who is offline for more than 7 days can be used as guild storage so you can send them guild tagged items to hold them.

i think these rules are essential to have enough spots in guild store and for us to be able to find those items fast.
you can see my brother and me just needed one and a half hour just now to recall some items and clean up storage...

something i want included in guild rules:

• same as my brother right above me.
  
• groups should only be created to attack relics, elites or champions for quests or guild items and super elites. dont use groups to attack normal monsters, elites and champions just to kill them, or legendarys. if you are not strong enough to kill them without a group, just dont kill them.
  
• if you use a group to attack and kill super elites, every second item found belongs to the guild. if you want to keep the second item too, you have to deposit the 80% of the value in gold or fsp into the guild. if you want to hunt se only for self benefit (so you never want to give any item to the guild) you can also deposit 40% of the value of every item found into guild.
  
• mercaneries have to be paid by the player who hired them. time limit to pay the gold back into guild is 2 hours. it can also be paid by depositing fsp or sending the gold to a high ranked member. mercs can be used by everyone who is at least great wyrm. they can be used for everything the players want. the player can for example hire 2 mercs (and of course pay them), create a group and attack normal monsters or champions. there would be no need for others to join that group.
  
• inactive players can be kicked if they are inactive for more than 7 days (without telling in guild forum) and they have less than 10 million contributed xp or they hold less than 15 guild items in their backpack. inactives can also be kicked when they are not logging in for more than 30 days.
  
• dont ask for buffs in guild chat.
  
• if you want to have buffs from a guildmate, list your own buffs in your bio so the asked player can see which buffs you wont need. read the players bio before asking for buffs.
  
• players who dont follow these rules can be kicked without warning after the second disregard.

These are some fine and logical rules suggestions I'm seeing here!!! I would like set up
Council and refine them into the basic rules we had before, then create a new list of rules
and put it to a full member vote. I would like to compose the list by Monday night!
The sooner, the better!

- Dont ask for buffs in guild chat, only in PM. Check is bio to see what buffs he has (if they are not them start sending him a PM asking him what buffs he has). First buff yourself with ur own buffs. Second PM ONE person to ask him buffs: STATE THEM. (PumaDiAce - modified)

- Players who dont follow the rules... First time, no conscequences, u are told what u did wrong... Second time, 3 days probation at wyrm errant rank... Third (after or during probation), kicked out of guild. (PumaDiAce - modified)

well, here is what i think of those you picked:


i dont like the second one like it is
it should be divided in at least four parts so up to lvl 50 it should be about 20k, from 50 to 150 about 50k, from lvl 150 to 300 about 70k and the upper lvls 100k as a must.

well, if you have to donate one out of 3 then it will be 33% of the value

i think the time limit for paying back the "merc-tax" is too long, no one can control it then. it should not be more than 12 hours

not every inactive with more than 30 days should be kicked...so i woulndt write it in the rules because rule are a must and not a guideline.

i think everyone who want to get buffs have to have their own written in their bio.


what do you think? sounds better?

I must agree with crazy on all of his revisions to Roan's final copy.
If everyone's in agreement on this I will write the final draft, and we can get this train rolling!

Well...almost everything that i could say its already here...still i want to say:

Players must donate like this:
-level 25-50 at least 30k per week;
-level 50-75 at least 40k per week;
-level 75-100 at least 70k per week;
-level 100-200 at least 250k per week (I can do that easely . I am only
level 132 and I don’t play the game with real money…and for all the other levels I
already donated much more near the target);
-for the next levels I cant say right now wich is the right number.

I posted this in the past and I see that many have the same opinion: everyone who want to get buffs have to have their own written in their bio, but I belive it will be nice that everyone with level 200+ buffs(especially AM, Doubler) to write them in bio cause it will be much easier to ask for them.
Im sure that I missed something about my opinion but its 7 in the morning and ….

P.S. From my point a view the guild helped me in big way in the past and it will be the same forever so I think all that it was posted here is quite easy to fallow.

i would like to suggest a rule about the buffs.........the current rule is that buff yourself first than ask for buffs......what if someone own buffs are quite low level than his buffer...the proper rule i think should be that ask someone for buffs you want..only 1 person first.....if he dosent buff then say dont worry ill get them from other ppl..so that he dosent waste stam.....now ask any other person......
what do ya think.............

perhaps you misunderstood what those rules are: they are no guidelines and you have to follow these always.
so if you have less time in a week and can only get on on 2 or 3 days you should also have the chance to observe these rules.
if you are on holidays its another question but we dont want to exclude everyone who cant be online every day to get the money they need to donate.
those rules should not be made to have 20 exceptions...
and it should be possible to keep some gold for yourself for example to spend it on upgrades to your character or to buy some items the guild doesnt have or to spend some item upgrades or items to the guild and so on. you should not be forced to spend everything you gain. (do you know any state in the world which can survive that way and where people are living because they want to?)

i dont agree with the "first buff yourself" point.
sometimes it takes quite a long time to find somebody who can give the asked buffs to you and if you buff yourself with your own buffs before, sometimes they wont last till the end of the hunt.
again i need to remind what rules are. they are not made to have as many exceptions as possible.
thats why i wanted the rules just to declare your own buffs in your bio and ask for buffs only in pm.
but you can add not to ask for buffs you have yourself unless they are lower than lvl 125 and the difference between requested and own buff is higher than 25.

I think all the rules are right and necessary....
espacially the ones about the attack groups... and the kills with these groups...
the same with the donations... there are some players who dont donate.. and these who donate everyday... everything they gain during the hunt....
so i think we should have a rule that everyone has to donate something...

well anyway will try like it was decided ...but im sure that without big donations from some players (and how much it will take until some of them will say : i have enough?!).... i mean if the majority it will donate according to our rules in the future we will run out of founds...i know how much we have when i joined the guild and when i look now...hmmmm....

at least we can try to make the diference from 50 to 50 levels...and rise a little the minimum request

or we can try to start asking for donation lets say only from level 50-60 up...not so much until level 100 but from there i think almost everyone its an player with enough experience and knows how important are donations for the guild...

with vacations its another discutions...but if we really want we can make some rules here too according with the amount of time you are gone...
